See This Brazilian Park Transform Into A Whole New WorldAndrew Terpstra
Taking a walk through nature can be a very cathartic experience, especially when you are surrounded by vibrant green trees and gorgeous scenery.
There has even been a movement started where people participate in “forest bathing” to help them rid themselves of the stresses from modern society and technology.
This new way of relaxing started in Japan and the purpose is to allow yourself to become immersed in the natural environment and take in your surroundings with all five of your senses.
By meandering through a forested area that shows off the natural beauty of wherever you may be located, people can touch the bark of trees, smell the wildflowers, and just notice the smaller details of the natural world.
But what happens when the area you are trying to enjoy suddenly floods and finds itself under feet of water?
After a large flood at Rio de la Plata, in Jardim, Brazil, a park and bridge become completely submerged under amazingly clear water. Despite the flooding, the water remained perfectly clear, making it look like everything was normal.
When you start looking closely, however, you can see the reflection at the top of the water, making it extremely evident that this area is definitely not as it should be.
With some very heavy rain over the course of an entire night, the Olho d’água River, a tributary of the Rio de la Plata in the Recanto Ecológico Rio da Prata region, turned what would normally be a nice walk into somewhere you needed to swim.
But reading about it is not even close to the same as seeing it for yourself, so make sure to check out the short video below and see just how amazing this transformation really is!
