Artist Turns Animals Into Minecraft Characters

If you’re like me, you’ve probably never played Minecraft. You may not have even heard about it. So, for those who are unfamiliar with the game, it’s a very popular sandbox video game. It was created and designed by Markus “Notch” Persson, a Swedish game designer.

The game has a distinct art style to it that it has even influenced a digital artist to get creative and use the iconic cube shapes in his own work.

Aditya Aryanto decided to put a cool twist on stock photos from Pixabay and Unsplash. The digital artist from Indonesia got busy with Photoshop and “liquified” animal photos in order to create that distinct cube shape from Minecraft.

The results were spot on, yet quite freaky. He regularly shares them to his Instagram and Behance.
